We received reports about status pages timing out.
After investigating, the cause was identified to be a misconfigured custom domain for the status page. Specifically if the domain was configured with a static IP address that was pointing to the IP address of our old service provider. During the incident we had on Apr 13-14, this IP address changed, which then caused some status pages to time out.
If you encounter this issue, please replace your A record with a CNAME record pointing to status.adminlabs.com using this guide: How to setup a custom domain? . We have contacted all affected customers with guidance on how to configured their DNS records to avoid this issue in the future.
